Two premises burgled in Carlow town

TWO premises in Carlow town were burgled in recent days, including a business on Potato Market and a premises in Strawhall.
The break-in of a business premises on Potato Market happened at 3.30am on Friday 31 January.
CCTV footage harvested by gardaí shows two men wearing gloves and hoods getting out of a white-coloured car outside the premises. They smashed a window to gain entry and stole a sum of money.
The culprits left in the direction of Kilkenny Road via Kennedy Avenue.
A second unrelated burglary occurred at a business premises in Strawhall Industrial Estate on Monday 3 February. An alarm was activated between 10.10pm and 10.40pm and, on arrival, the keyholder saw that a back window was smashed and entry had been gained to the premises.
The detective unit in Carlow Garda Station are investigating both matters and are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV or dashcam footage to be made available to them.
