Garda believe two Goresbridge burglaries on same day connected
Cash and jewellery were stolen
TWO burglaries that took place in south county Carlow on 4 July are believed by gardaí to be connected. The burglaries happened on the same day, in the same area and the robber broke into both houses in the same way.
One of the burglaries took places in Goresbridge at some time between 11am and 5pm on the day. The robber gained access to the property by forcing open a back window. Cash, jewellery and a Peter Marks voucher are believed to have been taken.
The other robbery was from a house in Milford at some point between 11am and 8pm. A back window had been forced open and a small sum of cash was taken.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who might have seen anything suspicious to contact them.
