Woodford Dolmen scoop top honours at hotel awards

CARLOW’S Woodford Dolmen Hotel is on cloud nine, having scooped two awards at the 2024 Irish Hotel Awards.
The hotel was awarded the prestigious ‘best four-star hotel in Leinster,’ along with the overall ‘excellence in service’ at the gala event, which was held at the Johnstown Estate in Enfield, Co Meath recently.
This honour recognises the Woodford Dolmen Hotel’s commitment to exceptional service, welcoming atmosphere and memorable guest experiences.
“We are honoured to have been chosen for two awards of such esteem as we constantly strive to provide every guest with an unforgettable stay,” said Colin Duggan, general manager of the hotel.
“It is a great accomplishment and testament to the effort and dedication of our entire team. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Irish Hotel Awards for this recognition and to all the team at the hotel for their commitment and hard work,” he added.
The hotel was awarded its fourth star two years ago, so to achieve this honour is something special.
