TWO car-related crimes were reported in Co Carlow last week. On 4 March at approximately 7am, cash was stolen from a car parked in a housing estate in Graiguecullen.
The individual reported the crime after she observed a male entering her car, which was parked outside her house. After the man left the scene, she noticed a small amount of cash was missing. The car was unlocked at the time the theft occurred.
Later the same day, in Bagenalstown, the rear window of a parked car was smashed in an act of vandalism. The car had been parked in a public place on Church Street between 1.20-4pm. When the owner returned, she noticed the damage and reported it to the gardaí. No CCTV footage was available from the location. Gardaí ask that anyone in the area at the time who may have observed anything to come forward.
