Poppy and Danny on Dancing with the Stars

TWO very talented local youngsters recently enjoyed the thrill of performing on the country’s most popular TV show, RTÉ’s Dancing with the Stars.

Poppy Madden from Tullow and Danny Sheehan from Bunclody, both members of Spotlight Stage School, graced our screens recently on the show, starring alongside the pro dancers for their weekly pro dance.

The two had a fantastic two days of rehearsals with the pro dancers, performing for the show and also meeting with this year’s celebrity dancers.

Poppy and Danny also appeared alongside their fellow Spotlight classmates on the recent Late Late Toy Show, both featuring as ‘Kevins’ for the Home Alone theme of this year’s show.

Audiences may also recognise Poppy from a national health care commercial which is currently running.
