Gardaí seek help identifying victim of serious Dublin assault

Gardaí in Dublin are seeking help in identifying the victim of a serious assault in Temple Bar on Wednesday night.
The man, whose age is unknown, is in a critical condition at Beaumont Hospital.
He has a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm with a blue and white flag and the words "Ceol is Beatha", which means "music is life".
The assault occurred at Cope Street, Dublin 2 at around 12.30am on Wednesday.
Gardaí have also appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact them.
Anyone who was in the area of Cope Street between midnight at 1am, and who may have any information about the incident has been asked to contact investigating gardaí.
Anyone with camera footage, including mobile phone and dashcam footage, has been asked to make it available.
