Military museum to open from this Sunday

COUNTY CARLOW Military Museum’s 2026 season will begin this Sunday, 15 March, and continue throughout the summer until Sunday 8 November.
The museum is open every Sunday throughout this period from 2-5pm, as well as every Wednesday and Friday from 12-4pm.
The museum showcases 800 years of Carlow’s military history under one roof, with featured displays from World War I and II, the War of Independence, the 1798 Rebellion and more.
The museum, located at Old Church on the Athy Road, will be open for business on St Patrick’s Day.
The museum’s annual Military Vehicle Show will be held on Sunday 24 May, with more details to be released in due course.
