Winnie Lyons and her family replaced the vandalised defibrillator outside Oak Family Practice on Wednesday afternoon, 15 January, in the presence of doctors of the Oak Family Practice.

The previous defibrillator in the box was stolen from its box outside Oak Family Practice on 4 December 2024, and not returned. It had been installed there in 2021, thanks to the generosity of the Lyons family.

Michael Lyons jnr explained that the person likely stole the device because of a perception that there was drugs inside the pouch. However, the pack does not contain medicine; just a scissors, razor and dressings to support the proper application of the electrical pads.
