Deadline extended for Powerhouse Women in Business Awards 2024

Closing date for entries extended to 4 November
CARLOW County Council’s Local Enterprise Office is offering an exciting opportunity for local businesswomen to enter the Powerhouse Women in Business Awards 2024.
The deadline for entries has been extended to Monday 4 November at noon. By extending the deadline, the Local Enterprise Office aims to offer as many women as possible in Carlow the chance to become finalists and experience this invaluable learning day.
All finalists will be invited to a special Masterclass Away Day facilitated by Orlaith Carmody of Carmody Coaching and Consulting. This exclusive masterclass is a new addition to the awards, providing all finalists with a unique opportunity to learn from one of Ireland’s leading business coaches.
The Powerhouse Women in Business Awards 2024 will be held on Thursday 21 November at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel.
This event is a tribute to the amazing achievements of women in business across Co Carlow and will be hosted by Joanne Sweeney, an acclaimed author, podcaster and business practitioner.
Cllr Fergal Browne, cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council, said: “The Powerhouse Women in Business Awards are a vital celebration of the incredible talent and leadership women bring to our local business community. These awards not only highlight the innovation and resilience of Carlow's businesswomen but they also inspire future generations to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.
“I encourage all female entrepreneurs to take advantage of the extended deadline and seize this opportunity to be recognised and celebrated for their contributions to our economy.”
There are ten award categories, which will highlight the diversity and achievements of women in business and two separate awards to be selected from the overall pool of entrants.
