Carlow player scoops €0.5m in EuroMillions draw

Tuesday night brought big smiles to a EuroMillions Plus player in Carlow when their ticket matched all five numbers. The player, who purchased their ticket on the day of the draw at Zerafa's Centra, Ballon, Carlow, won the top prize of €500,000.
The winning numbers in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 2, 9, 11, 16 and 28
Another player in Dublin with the same winning numbers, also won the top prize of €500,000 each in the draw on Tuesday evening, 21 April. That ticket was sold on the day of the draw at Charles Treacy, 191 Philipsburgh Avenue, Marino, Dublin 3.
While two Irish players celebrated their Plus wins, the EuroMillions jackpot was shared by three players, two in the UK and one in France, with each winning €48,175,066.
National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, urged anyone who bought a ticket in these locations to check their numbers carefully. The winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes at Lottery Headquarters.
