Assault in Bagenalstown

GARDAÍ in Bagenalstown are appealing for information after a man was assaulted on his way home in the early hours of Friday morning.
The attack took place as the man was making his way home from the pub at around 2am on Friday 29 November on the Royal Oak Road, Bagenalstown.
The injured party sustained facial injuries during the attack but nothing was stolen from him.
It appeared that the injured party didn’t know his attacker.
Gardaí in Bagenalstown are investigating the matter and are appealing for information on 059 9774120.
