The Spotlight performers joined Fair CitY’s Ryan Andrews, comedian Al Porter and social media star James Patrice on stage for the hugely successful Olympia panto, which ran from 20 December until Sunday 5 January. The Spotlight crew spent November and December busily preparing for the show, showing huge commitment with their trips to Dublin several times a week for rehearsals.

Their incredible professionalism, energy, enthusiasm and amazing dance skills delighted packed audiences daily at the Olympia. With many of the days featuring three and two performances of up to 1,000 people, the young Spotlight crew were more than up for the challenge.

It’s been an action-packed few weeks for Spotlight Stage School with the Olympia panto, their performance for the opening of the Late Late Toy Show, the Spotlight Christmas show as part of the Santa train experience at Rathwood and the stage school’s involvement in the turning on of the Christmas lights at Arnotts in Dublin.

With the busy Christmas period now over, attention turns to Spotlight’s Carlow show, which will take place this May featuring students from all Spotlight classes, from tiny tots to teens.
