Annual launch of ‘Carloviana’
Carloviana will be launched tonight
THE 2025 edition of , the annual journal of the Carlow Historical and Archaeological Society (CHAS), will be launched this Thursday night, 5 December, by Dr Ida Milne in the town’s Seven Oaks Hotel at 8pm. Ida Milne is European history lecturer at Carlow College and visiting research fellow in the School of Histories and Humanities at Trinity College, Dublin.
Dr Milne has contributed an article to the publication.
She is a social historian of diseases and her contribution is titled ‘Carlow snapshots of the 1918-1919 influenza pandemic’.
There is a host of interesting articles in 2025, which was first published in 1947.
