Aoife Kelly has been nominated for the third successive Football Association of Ireland (FAI) International Awards, while Ciara Milton has been nominated in two categories.
The nominations for the 35th instalment of the event have been confirmed ahead of the awards on Friday, June 6th.
The winners will be presented with their trophies in the Aviva Stadium ahead of the International Friendly between Ireland and Senegal.
The performances taken into account are from June 2024 to May 2025.
Kelly won the Women’s Under-17 International Player of the Year award in 2023 and was nominated in the Under 19 category last year, and is again up for the U19 award this year.
The Wexford FC player is nominated alongside Katie Keane, who was also nominated last year, and Jess Fitzgerald.
Last week it was revealed that Ciara Milton was nominated in the U15 Schools category and she is also in the running for the U16 International Player of the Year award, quite the achievement considering she will be eligible for that award again next year.
The inductees to the FAI Hall of Fame and the Special Merit recipient will be announced prior to the event along with the nominees for the Amateur Player of the Year.
