A teenage boy has been hospitalised after a hit-and-run incident with a scrambler in Dublin.

The crash, between a pedestrian and scrambler, occurred at the Five Lamps at the junction of Killarney Street, Amiens Street and North Strand Road in Dublin 1 at around 9.40pm on Saturday.

The pedestrian, a boy in his early teens, received treatment at Temple Street Children's Hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The scrambler left the scene.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Road users with camera footage, including dash cam, travelling in the area of the Five Lamps/North Strand Road between 9.15pm and 10.15pm on Saturday, June 20th, have been asked to make their footage available to investigating gardaí.
