Scarlett Faulkner dies in hospital following attack last month

Scarlett Faulkner, who was attacked in Birdhill, Co Tipperary, on March 21st last, has died.
She had been in critical condition since the attack.
The young mother in her 20s was taken off life support at Cork University Hospital on Sunday and died on Monday, surrounded by her family.
The coroner has been notified, and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
A family liaison officer has been assigned to support her family, and investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
A woman in her 40s and a teenage girl have been charged in connection with the assault.
Faulkner suffered critical head injuries in the attack. She is the mother of a six-year-old daughter.
Video footage of the attack was widely shared on social media, and An Garda Síochána has continued to appeal to people not to share it.
