AN OPPORTUNITY to step into times past is once again open to the public with the reopening for the season of County Carlow Military Museum.

The museum boasts the perfect setting, housed in a late 19th century church on the Athy Road within the grounds of St Dympna’s Hospital. It is dedicated to the collection, preservation and display of military memorabilia heritage, with all of its artefacts donated by families of former servicemen and women.
