Gardaí seize suspected drugs in three separate Carlow incidents

GARDAI in Carlow have seized suspected drugs with a combined street value of over €300 in three separate incidents across the county in recent days.

In the first incident, a Carlow man was arrested for a public order offence in the town centre after being found intoxicated in a public place. When searched at Carlow Garda Station before entering a cell, he was found to be in possession of €80 worth of suspected cannabis.

On Saturday 10 January a male was stopped and searched at Potato Market in Carlow town and was found in possession of €86 worth of suspected cannabis herb.

On Monday morning 12 January Gardaí stopped a vehicle in Clonmore, Hackerstown. The driver was found to be in possession of €140 worth of suspected cocaine.
