Gardaí investigating stabbing in Carlow town this afternoon 

A person has been injured in a stabbing in Carlow town this afternoon. 

The incident took place shortly before 12 noon in the Staplestown Road area. 

One man sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident. 

The scene was preserved for a technical examination, and Gardaí say investigations remain ongoing.
