Eurovision winner Eimear Quinn will perform in St Mary's Church, Carlow on 5 December
ACCLAIMED soprano Eimear Quinn is set to grace St Mary’s Church, Carlow with a special concert on Thursday 5 December, accompanied by the beautiful, lush sounds of the Mamisa String Quartet and renowned folk guitarist Robbie Overson.
Eimear’s ethereal and spiritual voice has become synonymous with the Christmas season for many. Since her celebrated rendition of , she has toured the country each December, but this marks her solo concert debut in Carlow.
She is loved by many as Ireland’s most recent Eurovision Song Contest winner (1996) with by Brendan Graham. Her distinctive fusion of folk, sacred and classical music has garnered her numerous honours.
Her performance in St Mary’s Church is part of a nationwide tour of churches and cathedrals to launch Eimear’s latest album dreaming.
