A MOTORIST who failed to produce valid motor tax, insurance and a driving licence when stopped by gardaí has been disqualified from driving for two years.

Daniel Flood, who lives at Oakwood, Ballynacarrick Upper, Castledermot, Kildare, was convicted in his absence in Carlow District Court of the offences which occurred on 20 March near Baltinglass, Wicklow.

The court heard that Sergeant Duffy stopped a vehicle owned by Mr Flood who failed to display valid tax and insurance.
