Bosom Buddies ‘pink’ fundraiser a great success

Everyone looked pretty in pink!
CARLOW Women’s Shed, known as Bosom Buddies recently held a 'pink party’ fundraiser for breast cancer awareness and care. The fundraiser was a great success, with all the proceeds donated from raffle ticket sales and their collection point going towards breast cancer awareness.
Members of Bosom Buddies Women’s Shed baked treats and cakes for the coffee morning and served them alongside donated goodies from Crotty’s Bakery and Rath’s Londis Plus.

“The fundraiser was a great success,” said Anne McGrath, a member of Carlow Women’s Shed. “We had a great turnout; it was a massive show of support from the local community for such a worthwhile cause. We want to thank all the members who donated and made prizes for our raffle and give a special thanks to Crotty’s Bakery and Rath’s Londis for the cakes and buns they donated for the party.” Bosom Buddies meet up in their headquarters, directly opposite the cathedral on College Street, Carlow, on weekdays so pop in for a cuppa and a chat!
