GLÓR Cheatharlach is again putting on a range of summer events and camps as Gaeilge for infants up to third-year students. The coláiste samhraidh/summer college for teenagers will run for one week from Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July from 9.

AN IMPRESSIVE programme of events ‘as Gaeilge’ suitable for all age groups will run for summer 2025, thanks to Glór Cheatharlach.

THIS YEAR’S Seachtain na Gaeilge features a bumper festival programme of events in Carlow town.

The event was organised by Glór Cheatharlach to celebrate a tremendous year of achievements in the promotion of the language and all things Irish in Carlow

Carlow received a special award as well as a cash prize of €1,500 in recognition of the efforts of Glór Cheatharlach

Walks and talks and lots of opportunities to speak Irish
