THE prospect of another new cycle lane in Carlow, this time on Church Street in Graiguecullen, has gone down like a lead balloon.

The number of adult residents walking or wheeling at least five times a week ranges from 70 per cent in the Dublin metropolitan area to 45 per cent in the Waterford metropolitan area. 

LOCAL councillors have yet again expressed concern at the roadworks on Kilkenny Road, which are leading to extreme delays for motorists.

TULLOW Road residents can now safely leave their cars behind and happily take in the fresh Carlow air by choosing walking and cycling for their everyday journeys.
