EVERYTHING from a meal out to an eye-catching painting, match tickets to a golf lesson, or even delicious spring lamb or a new set of tyres!

It’s all there and ready to go under the hammer this Thursday night as Carlow Lions Club hosts a charity auction in aid of the Éist Cancer Support Centre. The upcoming auction is sure to attract much attention and interest from bargain hunters and auction revellers alike.

“Carlow Lions Club is delighted to support Eist Carlow Cancer Support Centre by organising a charity auction at 7.30pm on Thursday 20 March in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow, all proceeds going to the very popular local charity," said Carlow Lions President Tom Clowry, at the auction's recent launch.

The charity auction will include in excess of a hundred lots to suit all tastes and requirements from weekend breaks to vouchers for restaurants, hairdressers, pharmacies, fashion outlets, golf lessons, a building energy rating assessment (BER), and lots more. Sure to be of particular interest is a 55" smart TV and a voucher for an overnight stay in Kelly’s of Rosslare. All items to go under the hammer on the night.

Expect the bidding to be fast, furious and terrific fun, as all the lots go under the hammer on the night.

Carlow Lions is very grateful to the many businesses that are supporting Éist Cancer Care Centre by donating so generously to make the auction such an eclectic mix of sought-after items for the auction.

All are very welcome to come along, enjoy the night and support this important local charity.

All proceeds will be donated to Éist, which is a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers working together to transform the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through advocacy, support services and research.
