A CO Carlow community is holding a special fundraising concert in May with a star-studded line-up of performers as well as one of Ireland’s best-known TV personalities as master of ceremonies.

Renowned singer Frances Black will be performing at a charity concert in St Patrick’s Church, Newtown on Saturday 10 May at 7.30pm. This event promises to be an unforgettable evening of music and community spirit and will also feature RTÉ weather and National Lottery presenter Nuala Carey as the guest MC.

Local piper Conal Butler will be performing live and also local singers, including Newtown Church Community Choir, Siobhan Nolan O’Toole, Aimee Canavan, Nicola Nolan and James Brennan.
