Carlow Lions Club auction on Thursday in Seven Oaks
Proceeds from the auction will be donated to two charities, Éist Cancer Support Services and Childhood Cancer
CARLOW Lions Club is set to host a charity auction on 8 October in the Seven Oaks Hotel to raise funds for Éist Cancer Support Centre Carlow and Childhood Cancer.
The auction will begin at 7.30pm and there are over 100 items on offer which have been donated by local businesses and individuals.
The event is being organised by Tom Clowry who promised that it will be “a wonderful night of community support and entertainment”.
Carlow Lions Club said it would like to “sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to date and encourages the entire community to attend, place a bid and help turn this generosity into meaningful support for two very deserving causes”.
