CARLOW is set to host the first Holisticon Wellness Expo at the Talbot Hotel on Sunday 27 September.
The free, one-day event will bring together healers and makers for talks, breathwork sessions, a sound journey and an evening of mediumship. It is being organised by Ronan Brennan, who runs the Inner Peace shop in Carlow, and Berliner Stefan Krueger.
Ronan has been part of Carlow’s holistic community for many years, having opened the Violet Flame shop on Barrack Street in 2023 and, a year later, Inner Peace in Carlow, a home for everything holistic and spiritual.
Stefan previously ran beer festivals and events in Berlin but moved to County Wexford this year and is hoping to put his experience into something sustainable.
The programme in the Rossmore Suite opens with a sound journey with Triskele Therapies at 10am, followed by somatic breathwork with Andrew Dooley of Breathrevolution at noon and Martin Duffy’s talk The Way of the Spiritual Warrior at 2.10pm. The day ends with an evening of mediumship with the well-known psychic Sandy McSweeney at 7.30pm.
“We want everyone who comes, visitor and exhibitor alike, to leave fulfilled and genuinely inspired,” the organisers said.
Exhibitors confirmed so far include Angel Whispers Kildare, Avalon Adrift, Clameo Shen Dao Acupuncture, Hiraeth Holistic Healing, Jana Platace, Mary Gallagher Healing Therapy, Nina Inti, Original Self Medicine, Ravenwood Crafts, South-East Pranic Healing Centre and Wellness with Niamh and Kenny.
The sessions are ticketed separately, with details and links on the programme at www.holisticon.ie.
Entry is free. Visitors who want to support the event can buy an optional Holisticon badge for €5.55, which unlocks a benefit at every stall on the day, a discount, a small gift with a purchase or both redeemed from their phone.
A yearly badge (€55.55) covers every Holisticon event for the next 12 months.
