Danny Doyle's brace, the second coming in extra time, earned the hosts a place in the semi-finals. Town got off to a great start, earning a penalty on nine minutes after Matty Curran was fouled in the area, Doyle slotting home from the spot for his first of the game.

Killeshin came out a more determined outfit after the break and on the hour they were level, James Brennan broke down the left before crossing for Xoli Stafford to make it 1-1. Bagenalstown responded and won a second penalty and this time Doyle smacked his effort off the post and wide.

A red card saw Killeshin reduced to ten men with 15 minutes to play, but Bagenalstown couldn't make the numerical advantage count and the game finished 1-1 and went to extra time. With the game looking destined for penalties, it was Danny Doyle again who produced the goods, Jack McCullagh's pass found him on the edge of the area and Doyle's shot found the bottom corner to send the hosts into a last four meeting with St Pat's.

St Patrick's Boys 5

Burrin Celtic 0

St Pat's set up a semi-final meeting with Bagenalstown after easing past Burrin Celtic on Saturday evening. A bright start and two goals from St Pat's had the visitors on the back foot from early on. The reigning league champions opened the scoring after eight minutes, Raveli Kilonda playing Callum Warfield through on goal and he found the net despite some tight marking.

Four minutes later it was 2-0, Warfield again involved when he picked up a loose clearance from a corner and squared for his brother Charlie to tap home the second.

With 20 minutes left St Pat's put the result beyond doubt. Dean Kelly was fouled in the area and Callum Warfield converted the penalty to make it 3-0. Warfield completed his hat-trick five minutes later and Jan Flejszar finished the scoring with a fine effort, Kilonda with his second assist of the game as Pat's eased into the last four.

Slaney Rovers 2

Dolmen Celtic 0

Slaney Rovers advanced to the semi-finals of the KCLR Plate on a wet and windy Sunday morning with conditions not suited to flowing football. Chances in the first half were few and far between, leaving it scoreless at half-time. After the restart, the breakthrough came on 62 minutes when Dylan Mahoney powered home a superb cross from Mathew Fisher. Within a minute it was 2-0 thanks to a close-range finish from Cormac Byrne to reward the efforts of Matthew Fisher, Luke Byrne and Rob O’Neill

Castle Rangers 3

Mill Celtic 1

Eleven minutes in, Fredo Eyong was fouled on the edge of the centre circle and Travis Timmins stepped up to take the free kick and scored when his kick dropped in under the crossbar to open the scoring for Castle.

Half-an-hour in, Luke Bailey played Aaron Bowden in on the advancing Mill goalkeeper, who just managed to make the save. Two minutes later, Aaron Bowden played Luke Bailey in on a one-on-one with the Mill goalie again, who made another great save. On 65 minutes, Duggan's kick out was coolly headed on by Luke Brennan in behind the Mill defence for Aaron Bowden to put Castle two up.

Ten minutes later, some great inter-link play saw Luke Brennan play the ball wide for Brandon Farrell to run down the wing and put in an excellent cross for Aaron Bowden to tap home to put Castle three up. Ten minutes from the end, Mill were awarded a penalty for a handball in the box. Adam Duggan in goal did well to get his fingers to it, but the ball still found the back of the net.
