Aoife Kelly has been nominated for an award at the 34th Football Association of Ireland (FAI) International Awards which will take place on Thursday 14 November.
The Carlow youngster, who won the Under 17 International Player of the Year at last year's awards, is this year nominated in the Under 19 category.
The Shamrock Rovers player was part of the Ireland team that competed at the UEFA Women's Under-19 European Championships in Lithuania last July. She was part of the defence that held Spain to a goalless draw in the opening game and who were leading Germany in the second game until the last 20 minutes.
