The racing schedule of the Paris 2024 Olympic regatta was again disrupted by lack of winds for a second consecutive day this afternoon(Tuesday 6th August 2024).
Carlow's Finn Lynch (Nationl Yacht Club) is scheduled to compete in the medal race final for the men's one-person dinghy (ILCA7 class) where he is aiming for his best day of the series to improve on his tenth overall position.
Reserve medal race days are included in the event programme for exactly this eventuality and event organisers have further opportunities on both Wednesday and Thursday. A provisional time of 12.20pm Irish Time has been announced for Wednesday, but as always, this depends very much on the conditions locally.
