There are 15 minutes gone at Croke Park, where the first of today's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-finals is underway.

It is Monaghan 0-03 to 0-00 Louth.

The last-eight ties conclude at 4pm with the meeting of Dublin and Galway.

Ger Brennan has made one change to the Dublin team that defeated Donegal last weekend, with Eoin Kennedy replacing the injured Nathan Doran at full-back.

Shane McGrath's inclusion at centre-forward is the only change to Padraic Joyce's side's starting fifteen from their victory over Westmeath.

Attention turns to Group 1 of the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship this afternoon, with the remaining semi-final places up for grabs.

Cork host Waterford at 3.30pm, with the Rebels looking to complete a perfect group campaign after wins over Galway and Tipperary.

Waterford need a result to boost their hopes of reaching the last four.

At the same time, reigning champions Galway welcome Tipperary to Athenry.

The Tribeswomen are chasing a semi-final place, while Tipperary need a win and favourable results elsewhere to have a chance of finishing in the top two.

England progressed to the knockout stages of the World Cup as Group L winners thanks to a 2-nil victory against Panama on Saturday night.

Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane scored the goals in New Jersey.

They will face DR Congo in the next round on Wednesday.

Croatia beat Ghana 2-1 with both going through.

Elsewhere , Columbia and Portugal played out a scoreless draw, Argentina beat Jordan 3-1, while Austria and Algeria drew 3-3.

The first of the last 32 matches take place tonight.

South Africa meet co-hosts Canada at the SoFi Stadium in California, which kicks off at 8pm Irish Time.

Meanwhile, Steve Clarke has stepped down as Scotland's head coach following his team's exit from the World Cup.

Scotland managed to win just one of their games in the group stage.

Golf

Shane Lowry is seven shots behind the leader at the Travelers Championship following another strong showing in his third round.

The Offaly native finished on six-under-par yesterday to move to 13-under overall.

He tees off at 7.35pm Irish time on Sunday, alongside newly-crowned US Open champion Wyndham Clark.

Viktor Hovland - who is currently 20-under-par - takes a one-shot lead into the final round.

Leona Maguire carded a third-round 73 at the KPMG Women's Championship at Hazeltine on Saturday.

She is in a tie for 49th at one-over par, and tees off at 2.08pm this afternoon.

Ryu Hae-ran is one-shot ahead at the summit on 11-under-par.
