UPDATE: Almost all of the Co Carlow boxes opened
Counting underway at the Carlow Kilkenny constituency
With almost all of the Co Carlow ballot boxes opened, tallies indicated that Fianna Fáil's Jennifer Murnane O’Connor is on 20%, Fine Gael’s Catherine Callaghan on 15% and Sinn Féin's Áine Knox Gladney on 13%.
A total of 60% of the boxes in the Carlow/Kilkenny constituency have been opened - the vast majority from the Carlow end of the constituency.
Social Democrats Patricia Stephenson is polling well on 4.5% while The Green Party’s Malcolm Noonan will be hoping for an increase in fortune as Kilkenny ballot boxes are opened. He is currently on 3.3%.
People Before Profit’s Adrienne Wallace is currently on 2.6%.
