Thief caught red-handed at building site in Castletown
The man was spotted acting suspiciously
A THIEF was caught red-handed after he was spotted acting suspiciously at a house that was being renovated.
Gardaí apprehended the man after they spotted him at the property in the Castletown area, outside Carlow town, on Thursday 8 May. They stopped and questioned him and subsequently found a number of power tools in his possession. He was arrested and brought to Carlow Garda Station, where he was charged. He is due to appear shortly before the local district court.
