Teach Dolmain pub and Rath’s Londis in Carlow to close tomorrow

TEACH Dolmain pub on Tullow Street, Carlow and the Londis shop on Pollerton Road, Carlow are to close tomorrow, Tuesday as a mark of respect after the sudden death of businessman, Willie Rath.
The community of Carlow town and beyond were shocked by the unexpected but peaceful passing of Willie on Wednesday 10 December at his home in Kilmeaney, Tinryland.
His funeral Mass is taking place tomorrow, Tuesday at 11am in Askea Church after which Willie will be laid to rest in his home county, in Monaseed Cemetery, County Wexford (Y25 E544).
A notice of the Teach Dolmain Facebook page said: ‘Due to the unfortunate passing of Willie Rath, Teach Dolmain will be closed on Tuesday 16 December to mourn this loss. Our thoughts are with the Rath family at this time.’
