Warnings over spending in the budget and calls for the Solicitors' strike to end make the front pages of Tuesday's papers.

The Irish Times leads with a doctor who reviewed HSE scans was struck off abroad after he was found to have misread imaging.

The Irish Examiner leads with a warning from the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council (IFAC), that a large budget package will only drive up prices and that its plan to increase spending by six per cent is not appropriate.

The Echo leads with fears of violence in Cork following a shooting in which two people were injured on Sunday.

The Irish Independent also leads with the warning from Ifac that big spending from the State will hike the cost of living.

The Irish Daily Mail leads with a call from the mother of one of the teenagers who died in the M9 crash for the solicitors' strike to end as his case was adjourned.

Both the Irish Daily Mirror and the Irish Daily Star lead with tributes paid to the woman in Limerick who died following a murder suicide by her partner.
