What the papers say: Thursday's front pages

Thursday's front pages focus on a range of stories, from the Government not being able to rule out the possibility that Irish-produced alumina is part of the Russian military to a soldier being ordered into a river with dead sheep. 

The Irish Times reports that the Government report into Aughinish Alumina is expected to say it cannot rule out the possibility that Irish-produced alumina is ending up in the Russian military supply chain because of the lack of hard evidence.

The Irish Examiner reports that a member of the Defence Forces has spoken of how degraded she felt to be ordered into a river in which a dead sheep was floating, as part of a promotion process.

The Echo focuses on TDs calling on the Government to purchase the grounds of the former Bessborough mother-and-baby home in Cork.
