Missing Carlow teen found safe and well

A 16-year-old boy who had been reported missing from Carlow town has since been located safe and well, gardai have confirmed.

Albie Andrade had not been seen since Monday 24 August, prompting an appeal from gardai for the public's assistance in tracing his whereabouts.

Gardai have thanked the media for their assistance in the case.

Gardai had previously described Albie as approximately six foot in height and of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes. He had last been seen wearing a blue hoodie, grey shorts and white runners.
