Trolley watch: Over 560 patients wait for beds in Irish hospitals

565 admitted patients were waiting for beds in Irish hospitals on Monday morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's (INMO's) Trolley Watch.
Of these, 380 patients were waiting in the emergency departments, while 185 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
74 admitted patients were waiting for beds at Cork University Hospital. 55 were waiting in the emergency department, while 19 were waiting in wards elsewhere.
At University Hospital Limerick, 68 admitted patients were waiting for beds. 44 were waiting in the emergency deaprtment while 24 were waiting in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
50 admitted patients were waiting for beds at University Hospital Galway, 46 were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital, and 42 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital.
At St Vincent's University Hospital, 26 admitted patients were waiting for beds. 24 were waiting in the emergency department while the other two waited in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
