A man has died from his injuries after he was assaulted in Mulhuddart, Dublin, in the early hours of Friday.

The incident occurred at Parslickstown Drive at approximately 3:55 am.

The man in his 40s, who was conveyed to hospital for treatment of serious injuries, has since passed away.

This investigation is being coordinated from an incident room at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the direction of a Senior Investigating Officer.

A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to the family.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information in relation to this incident or who may have video footage (including dash-cam) who were in the area of Parslickstown, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15, between 3am and 4.30am on Friday July 3rd.
