American singer-songwriter King Princess has released her third studio album ahead of a UK/EU tour, which kicks off at Dublin's Vicar Street later this year.

Mikaela Mullaney Straus, known by the stage name King Princess, will play at Vicar Street on December 3rd, 2025, after the US leg of her tour concludes on November 22nd.

Her new album 'Girl Violence' features the focus track 'Jaime' - the first song written for it.

Speaking on the focus track, King Princess said: "Jaime was the first song Jake, Aire, and I made together, and it was the ‘aha’ moment - like, okay, this is what the record is.

"It’s about that sinking feeling of chasing connection and approval from someone who’s never going to give it to you.

"Everybody’s got a Jaime —whether it’s a friend, a lover, a business partner. Someone quietly waiting for you to f*** up.

"But there’s a twist, too: I’m the pawn, sure, but I’m also making moves.

"Sonically, it’s like coming home, and it reminds me of ‘1950’ in that way, those familiar chords I’ve loved forever.”

Tickets for the gig at Vicar Street are on sale now and can be found on Ticketmaster from €45.80.
