DUP MP Sammy Wilson is being investigated by Westminster’s standards commissioner.

According to the parliamentary standards commissioner’s website, he is accused of a “failure to declare an interest”.

No further details have been revealed about the investigation which was opened on July 28th.

The DUP has been approached for comment.

Wilson has been the DUP MP for East Antrim since 2005.

In 2024 he apologised to the Commons for failing to declare a paid-for overseas trip when tabling a parliamentary question.
