AN ENTERPRISING spirit and a passion for business and camaraderie were celebrated recently at Network Ireland Carlow’s annual Women in Business Awards lunch. Network Ireland Carlow is now in its third year and was delighted to bring members together to the Seven Oaks Hotel to celebrate their achievements.

This year’s national Network Ireland awards include eight individual categories, and Carlow members were absolutely delighted to have had entrants in four: emerging businesswoman, established businesswoman, creative professional and networker of the year.

All local branch winners will go onto the Network Ireland National Awards, to be held this year in Killarney on Friday 25 September.

Network Ireland Carlow branch was also delighted to welcome as special guest and honorary award recipient of the Inspirational Woman in Business 2025 award, Jo Browne, a trend-setting local businesswoman. Hacketstown native Jo launched her business in 2016 and has since built a thriving company rooted in authenticity with a passion for natural products and an award-winning brand, which is loved by her customers both nationally and internationally.

The winners were:
Deirdre McCarthy, FLIT Financial Literacy
Clare Mansfield, Flowering With Clare
Clare Mansfield, Flowering With Clare
Clare Fitzgerald, Wise Eyes Creative
Emma Butler, White Meadow Interiors.
The winners of each category received a beautiful slate trophy crafted by local Carlow business Fawn Laser.
Network Ireland Carlow would like to express deep gratitude to AIB, Network Ireland’s official partner. “AIB’s national and local partnership with Network Ireland is vital for female entrepreneurship and leadership in Ireland. Their financial and community support empowers women in business through valuable programmes and networking,” said Jane Byrne of Studio Dancewear and vice-president of the Carlow branch.
The branch would also like to thank the Talbot Hotel, Carlow for its generous sponsorship of the Carlow branch.
