Kilkea Castle to host Woodland Festival
Kilkea Castle will host the Ireland Woodland's Show on 4 and 5 October
Ireland's Woodland Show is coming to the magnificent Kilkea Castle in Castledermot on the 4 and 5 October. The show will celebrate Irish trees, sustainable woodland management, all things timber and biodiversity through woodland talks, information stands, chainsaw carving, machinery and equipment displays.
The show will feature lots of demonstrations, artisan crafts, food stands and family activities. The Celtic Chainsaw Carvers have assembled another amazing team to raise the noise and let the wood fly to create amazing looking sculptures. The show is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
