Gardaí seized suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €3,500 after executing a search warrant for a property in Carlow town centre on Friday, 7 November. 

They arrested one individual at the premises and investigations are ongoing.

The seizure forms part of an ongoing crackdown by An Garda Síochána on the sale and supply of drugs across County Carlow.

On 16 and 17 October, gardaí seized cannabis and cocaine with a combined value of €45,000 following searches of several properties. The searches were conducted as part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of drugs and related criminal activity in the area.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
