Carlow upgraded to orange weather warning
A Status Orange Wind weather warning has been issued for Carlow amid the arrival of Storm Bram.
Met Éireann issued a status orange weather warning for Carlow and neighbouring counties on Tuesday morning.
Storm Bram will bring very strong to gale force southerly winds with severe gusts.
The wind warning is in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford until 15:00 on Tuesday afternoon, 9 December.
Carlow Fire Services have warned that residents may experience difficult travel conditions, debris and loose objects displaced, power outages, and an impact on outdoor events. Low lying coastal areas may experience flooding during high tide.
