Baritone and teenage star to perform together

AN upcoming concert called , which will take place in Visual arts centre in December, was recently launched just in time for the festive season.

Acclaimed Ukrainian baritone and Carlow resident Maksym Lozovyi will be performing a collection of Christmas songs arranged by the concert’s musical director and Carlow native, Ollie Hennessy on Friday 5 December.

Maksym is a former soloist with the world-renowned Kherson Philharmonic orchestra where he won numerous awards, and since relocating to Ireland over two years ago following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, he has performed at the Rose of Tralee and the successful musical amongst many other acclaimed performances.

Maksym will be supported on the night by Carlow Community Choir and 14-year-old rising music star Holly Harmon.
Holly is a young singer and performer who already has vast experience across stage, screen and vocal groups. She has featured on ***The Late Late Show*** as a junior singer with Andrea Bocelli, as well as performing in the National Concert Hall with the Irish Women in Harmony last summer.
