A SIGNIFICENT milestone was enjoyed this week in Carlow town as the Tullow Road community came together to turn the sod on their new €4. 6m multi-functional community hub.

TULLOW Road residents can now safely leave their cars behind and happily take in the fresh Carlow air by choosing walking and cycling for their everyday journeys.

The project is expected to take 18-months to complete
