Responders seek event sponsorship

Carlow Town Community First Responders will hold a fundraising night pm Friday 13 September
A VOLUNTEER group dedicated to providing critical, emergency life-saving support is appealing for help to support its work.
The Carlow Town Community First Responders play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the public, constantly striving to improve resources and training. To that end, the group has organised a fundraising night on 13 September in Ewing’s bar, Centaur Street. Funds raised will go towards purchasing essential equipment, maintaining services and training volunteers, enabling them to respond more effectively to emergencies. Volunteer and co-organiser of the event Janet Dunlevy told
: “It’ll be a great night of live music. Every cent will go straight back into the community.” Janet is appealing to local businesses to come on board as sponsors of the fundraiser, giving businesses an opportunity to showcase their commitment to the community. Sponsors will feature prominently, with opportunities for branding and public acknowledgments. She says the support of the business community would have “a significant impact on the lives of people in our community”.The night begins at 8pm. Tickets are available via the Carlow Community First Responders’ website and social media pages. Anyone interested in sponsoring is asked to contact the group through those channels as soon as possible.
