AT the final event of the Pan Celtic International Festival 2026, the raffle ticket of Fidelma Morris was drawn out as winner of the festival raffle.

Fidelma is an apt winner, as she is a self-declared Pan Celtic enthusiast and co-leader and tutor to the Carlow Ukulele Players. She organised several ukulele concerts and performances during the festival.

The raffle draw took place on Thursday 30 April in the Woodford Dolmen hotel. Colin Duggan, who manages the hotel, picked the winning ticket from the pot.

Fidelma’s prize includes an overnight stay for two people with dinner and breakfast in the Woodford Dolmen hotel, shopping and meal vouchers at various Carlow businesses, as well as €500 cash, bringing the total prize value to €1,000.
